Chat bots are unquestionably a very ergonomic interface.
Increasingly, I am starting to think that a key part of unlocking the value of LLMs, may be through thinking about them more as solutions for interface design problems.
I have definitely enjoyed being the knuckle-cracking "stand back everyone and stop panicking, I know how to fix this" guy on a number of occasions, but that is a sideshow. You can do circus tricks with power tools, and some people do, but it's not the reason the tools were made.
