I'm Micah R Ledbetter, a programmer, engineer, and writer.
I write about programming and computers, and I think it's important to learn how to wield these tools to take control over our environment. User agency is very important to me.
I also write about history and literature, and the philosophy of technology and public policy.
Professionally, I have worked as a programmer and SRE at technology and prop trading firms.

This site is a Hugo-based personal website with both chronological content (blog, TIL, links) and evergreen reference material (projects, uses, references).
There are a few easter eggs here :) see if you can find them.
